Gov Umo Eno defects to APC, dump PDP

In a shocking turn of events, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Announcing his defection, Eno thanked the PDP for its past support but said the time had come to take what he called a “progressive step forward.”

He revealed that the decision followed extensive consultations and was driven by his respect for President Bola Tinubu and a desire to align Akwa Ibom with the federal government for sustained development.

Governor Eno pledged to remain committed to the welfare of the people of Akwa Ibom, emphasisng that his dedication transcends party lines.
