Chelsea booked their place in the Round of 16 at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup following a 3-0 victory over Tunisian champions Esperance.
After a sluggish opening period, the Blues found their rhythm just before halftime. Tosin Adarabioyo opened the scoring during first-half stoppage time, followed moments later by a composed finish from Liam Delap to double the advantage.

The London club took full control of the match after the break, maintaining possession and dictating tempo. Tyrique George capped off the performance with a third goal in the dying seconds.
With the win, Chelsea secured second place in Group D and will now take on Group C winners Benfica in the knockout round, set for Saturday in Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Brazilian giants Flamengo, who had already guaranteed top spot in Group D, played out a 1-1 draw against LAFC. They now prepare to face Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 clash on Sunday.
