Portuguese international and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has tragically died in a car accident in Spain, just two weeks after his wedding.
According to local media, the 28-year-old was involved in a fatal crash near Zamora in the northwest region of the country early Thursday morning. His brother, Andre Jota, also lost his life in the incident.

Jota, who joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020, was part of the squad that secured the 2024–2025 Premier League title.
