The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will unveil the 2025 admission cut-off marks for tertiary institutions, alongside announcing the highest scorers in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
This was disclosed in a post on JAMB’s official X handle, @JAMBHQ, which noted that the announcement will be part of the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions scheduled to take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

“The policy meeting is the gathering of stakeholders where policy guidelines and other relevant regulations on admission are discussed and ratified for the next academic year,” the statement read.
The board stated that the meeting will bring together major stakeholders in Nigeria’s education system, including leaders of universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and mono-technics.
JAMB added that the session will not only determine the minimum admission benchmarks for each category of tertiary institution, but also finalize admission timelines and registration deadlines.
In addition, the Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, confirmed that the event will also spotlight the candidates with the highest scores in the 2025 UTME.
