Juventus are reportedly plotting a major move for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, with an offer in the region of €50 million on the table way below the Bundesliga side’s €70m price tag on the player.
However, the Bundesliga side have made it clear that such an amount will not be enough to tempt them into selling one of their prized assets.

According to Sport Bild, the Serie A giants have registered concrete interest in Adeyemi and are preparing to submit a bid worth up to €50 million (£43m/$58m).
Despite this, Dortmund’s hierarchy—led by managing director Lars Ricken and sporting director Sebastian Kehl—are not keen to negotiate at that price, viewing Adeyemi as central to the club’s present and future ambitions.
Having already sanctioned the €60 million (£50m/$62m) transfer of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to Chelsea earlier this summer, Dortmund are hesitant to part with another young attacking talent in the same window. The club’s long-term vision includes Adeyemi playing a key role, and they have underlined that belief through significant media exposure during the recent Club World Cup in the United States.
Internally, the German club is planning to initiate contract renewal talks with Adeyemi during the winter period.
Although the winger is already under contract until 2027, Dortmund want to secure his services well into the future to avoid any late-contract complications. If negotiations don’t materialize by the winter, the possibility of a summer sale could become more realistic—but only at a price well above €60 million (£52m/$70m).
Last season, Adeyemi made a strong impact in the Bundesliga, tallying seven goals and six assists. His ability to take on defenders and create chances made him one of the league’s most dynamic wide players, ranking in the top 10 for successful dribbles per 90 minutes.
With Bynoe-Gittens now in London and Julien Duranville sidelined through injury, the 23-year-old is expected to shoulder even greater attacking responsibility for Dortmund. The club’s commitment to keeping Adeyemi reflects both their reluctance to lose another rising star and their desire to build around him.
If no agreement is reached over a contract extension by winter, Dortmund could reassess their stance.
Despite their current hardline approach, they are also wary of entering the final year of Adeyemi’s contract in 2026 without a clear plan—making a potential summer 2025 transfer an option if talks stall.
