The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed a total of N1.818 trillion among the three tiers of government — Federal, States, and Local Government Areas — as the revenue generated for the month of June 2025.
This was revealed in a statement from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation following the FAAC meeting held in Abuja in July 2025.

According to the report, the gross statutory revenue for June rose significantly to N3.485 trillion, marking an increase of N1.390 trillion from the N2.094 trillion reported in May.
However, revenue from the Value Added Tax (VAT) sector witnessed a decline. The VAT collection dropped from N742.820 billion in May to N678.165 billion in June — a shortfall of N64.655 billion.
Despite the drop in VAT, the revenue report noted substantial growth in Companies Income Tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), and the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), suggesting stronger performance in corporate and petroleum-related sectors.
On the downside, the report indicated that collections from oil and gas royalties, import and excise duties, VAT, and Common External Tariff (CET) levies experienced varying levels of decline during the period under review.
