The All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, currently serving as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, as its new National Chairman.
This resolution was unanimously adopted during the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, which took place on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

“OFFICIAL: Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda has been elected as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the 14th meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Party,” the ruling party posted on its X account on Thursday.

The leadership seat became vacant following the resignation of former chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje, in June.
