Ganduje hails Yilwatda’s emergence as APC National chair

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has welcomed the emergence of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as his successor, describing it as a timely and strategic development for the ruling party.

Yilwatda was officially named APC National Chairman during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

In a statement personally signed by Ganduje, the former Kano State governor expressed strong confidence in Yilwatda’s leadership, praising his “capacity, intellect, maturity, and administrative competence.”

“I have no doubt that Prof. Yilwatda will move our party forward. His emergence at this critical time is a strategic development for the APC,” Ganduje stated.

He also commended President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their continued leadership and role in steering the affairs of the party.

“Our President and Vice-President have once again demonstrated maturity and direction in guiding the APC,” Ganduje added.
