The victory was marked by a spectacular parade, highlighted by a live performance from Burna Boy — the favourite artist of England head coach Sarina Wiegman — who thrilled fans and players alike.

The globally acclaimed Afrofusion star delivered a stunning rendition of his hit single ‘For My Hand’, which features British artist Ed Sheeran. His energy on stage electrified the atmosphere, drawing loud applause and cheers from the crowd.

Fans were treated to an unforgettable moment as Wiegman herself joined in the excitement, singing along and dancing beside Burna Boy in an expression of pure joy.

Born Damini Ogulu, Burna Boy first rose to prominence with the release of ‘Like to Party’, the breakout single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ in 2013.

He has since built an impressive discography, including ‘On a Spaceship’ (2015), ‘Outside’ (2018), ‘African Giant’ (2019), ‘Twice As Tall’ (2020), ‘Love, Damini’ (2022), and ‘I Told Them’ (2023).

Now 34, he recently dropped his eighth studio album, ‘No Sign of Weakness’, further cementing his position as a global force in music.

Widely considered one of the “big three” in Afrobeats, Burna Boy is among Africa’s most influential musical exports.

His accolades include multiple international honours, notably the Grammy Award for Best World Music Album in 2021 for ‘Twice As Tall’.
