VeryDarkMan slams Iyabo Ojo’s petition against CP Uche

Date:

Controversial social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has publicly reacted to a petition filed by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo against the Nigeria Police and a Commissioner of Police, dismissing it as inconsequential.

Iyabo Ojo’s petition, which has gone viral, was submitted to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu. In it, she accuses Commissioner of Police Ifeanyi Henry Uche of the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC) of professional misconduct.

According to the actress, CP Uche interrogated her in the presence of VeryDarkMan, a civilian and a defendant in a separate case where she is a witness.

Responding to the petition on his Instagram story on Tuesday evening, VeryDarkMan was quick to downplay its significance.

Sharing an image of the document, he wrote, “@nigeriastory this petition na suya paper,” using a local term to suggest the petition is worthless.

The actress’s recent interactions with the police stem from her public comments on the death of singer Mohbad.

A few weeks ago, she honored a police invitation after she publicly called out singer Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, for their alleged involvement in bullying the late singer, following the emergence of a video showing the alleged harassment.
