A 32-year-old pastor, Ikenna Emmanuel, and his accomplice have been arrested in Imo State, for the alleged rape of a 20-year-old woman.
The arrest was made by officers from the Orlu Divisional Headquarters.
According to a police statement, Pastor Emmanuel, who heads the Authentic Power City Church, and his alleged accomplice, Franklin Chizoba, reportedly lured the victim to the pastor’s home under the guise of offering prayers.

The victim was allegedly given a drink that made her dizzy, at which point the two men are accused of raping her.
Both suspects reportedly confessed to the crime during interrogation and were also said to have admitted to engaging in homosexual acts. They have been charged and are being held in a correctional facility in Owerri pending trial.
In a separate incident, police in Orlu have arrested a 39-year-old man, Ifeanyi Odinka, for allegedly stabbing his 75-year-old father, Denis Odinka, to death.
The incident is said to have stemmed from a dispute over money from a land sale.
The suspect has reportedly confessed to the crime and has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Owerri for further investigation and prosecution.
