Boko Haram militants attacked a community in Borno State, killing two people and burning down a church.
According to DAILY POST, the settlement is known as Bamzir Village in Whuntaku District, Chibok Local Government Area of the state.
The media team of Chibok LGA’s local government chairman, Mustapha Madu, said in a statement that terrorists attacked around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday and burned down houses, killing two brothers, Josiah Pogu Pudza, an SS 2 student, and Enoch Pogu Pudza, while one Esther Yohanna was injured by a bullet.
According to the statement, the terrorists took away food and cattle, and razed a church auditorium, several houses, and shops.
Mustapha commiserated with the family of the bereaved and inspected all the burnt houses, shops, and the church auditorium.
