Salome Adaidu, the woman allegedly murdered by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, has been laid to rest following a tragic incident that shocked the community.

Ajayi, who was apprehended in Nasarawa, was reportedly found in possession of Adaidu’s severed head in a polythene bag. The grim discovery occurred on Sunday in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, located near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

His arrest came after an intelligence tip-off led security agents to an uncompleted building, where Ajayi was found. During questioning, the 2020 gospel album artist, who also presents motivational content on TikTok, confessed to the murder.

He further revealed that the remainder of Adaidu’s body was at his residence.

A poignant video of Adaidu’s burial surfaced, showing a group of men laying her remains to rest late Monday night, while mourners could be heard grieving in the background.

The authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Adaidu’s death, piecing together the events that led to this devastating act of violence.
