AY reacts to AI video of him kissing May Edochie

Date:

Comedian and actor AY Makun has expressed displeasure after an Artificial Intelligence-altered video of him and May Edochie surfaced online.

The video clip, which has generated conversations on the internet, has AY, who is sitting next to the actress turn and share a kiss with her.

Those with keen eyes instantly recognised that the video posted originally by AY was changed by AI and its ramifications were not lost on the celebrity.

In a lengthy Instagram post, AY urged Nigerians to “channel your immense creative talents toward building a better nation rather than tearing each other down.”

He advised members of the public to use their unique skills and creativity for positive change instead of undermining others.

“Nigeria is rich with potential, and your unique skills—be it in art, music, technology, or entrepreneurship—can be pivotal in driving positive change.

“Instead of using your creativity to undermine those who are working hard to improve their lives and contribute to society, let’s focus on uplifting one another.

“It’s essential to recognize that every action has consequences. When we choose to sabotage others, we only perpetuate a cycle of negativity and destruction.

“At what point will we realize that unity and collaboration will yield far greater results than division?” part of the social media post reads.
