Maharazu Tsiga, a retired Major General and former Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has been kidnapped in the Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Tsiga was reportedly abducted along with several residents of Tsiga village around midnight on Wednesday.

Details surrounding the incident remain scarce, and as of now, the Katsina police command has not released an official statement.
This abduction is part of a troubling rise in ransom-driven kidnappings in Nigeria’s northern region in recent months.
