Dr. Anuma Ogbonnaya Nila, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Police Affairs, has reaffirmed his dedication to fully implementing President Bola Tinubu’s 8-point agenda, particularly as it relates to the police sector.
Speaking at his first meeting with the ministry’s management and staff in Abuja, Dr. Nila emphasized his commitment to improving the welfare of police officers and ensuring effective service delivery. He underscored the importance of supporting the rank-and-file officers to enhance their ability to maintain security and serve citizens efficiently.
“We have the power to change the narrative and bring smiles to the families of police officers across the country. When the welfare of the police is neglected, insecurity thrives. It is crucial that we address these challenges together,” he stated.
