Lagos Red Line train increases frequency

Date:

The Red Line Train Service in Lagos has exciting news for its commuters. Starting today, February 10, 2025, the service will increase its frequency, providing full service during morning peak hours.

This means that instead of just two morning trips from Agbado to Oyingbo, there will now be five morning trips and four evening trips, totaling nine trips daily.

Commuters can look forward to reduced travel times, with the journey from Agbado to Oyingbo taking just 50 minutes. Plus, waiting times at each station will be a mere two minutes.

And, as if that’s not enough, three new train sets are set to arrive in the coming months, further boosting the Red Line’s capacity and service to Lagos residents.
