Joypeace, the sister of Success Izekor, is seeking justice over her alleged murder by her husband, Kelvin Izekor.

Kelvin was arrested after witnesses claimed that he allegedly hit his wife with a cutlass on the head, resulting in deep cuts and her eventual death.

It was gathered that the couple got married in June 2024. Some reports claim neighbours had witnessed Kelvin abusing his wife on multiple occasions.

Joypeace took to Facebook to call for justice, revealing that her sister was pregnant when she was killed.

“I went to the house, I did not know my sister’s dead body was inside. I went to her shop in the market, she did not come. Yesterday night, my daughter asked if I had heard from her aunt, I said no. That I had also tried calling but her number was not going.

“She was now like is what she is hearing true? I asked what she meant and she said she heard that my sister was dead. I questioned her, asking who told her that. She said many people called her from the market that Osas has died, that Kelvin has killed her inside the house.

“I collected the number from her while still trying my sister’s number but it was not still going through. That was when people started calling me that my sister was dead.”

Kelvin has been charged to court, and is being remanded in prison.
