Tinubu hosts NFL Super Bowl winner Moro Ojomo at State House

Date:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomed Nigerian-born American football player Moro Ojomo to the State House in Abuja on Friday, marking a proud moment for the young athlete and his family.

Ojomo, who recently won Super Bowl 59 with the Philadelphia Eagles, was accompanied by his father, Ololade, mother, Bimbo, and sister, Modele.

At just 23 years old, Ojomo’s visit to Nigeria comes shortly after his team’s victory in the prestigious Super Bowl, which is considered the pinnacle of American football.

Born in Lagos, Ojomo moved to the United States with his family when he was seven years old. His return to his birthplace, just weeks after securing a Super Bowl ring, underscores his remarkable journey from Nigeria to the global stage of NFL football.

Ojomo played an instrumental role in the Eagles’ triumph, contributing to their second-ever Super Bowl victory, a historic moment for the franchise.

His visit to Nigeria symbolizes not only personal achievement but also the growing recognition of Nigerian talent on the international sports scene.
