The Rivers State House of Assembly has given a 48-hour deadline for Governor Siminalayi Fubara to deliver the 2025 budget.
The legislators made the demand at Monday’s plenary session.
Security was increased at the Rivers House of Assembly Quarters throughout the House’s session.
Speaker of the House, Martin Amaewhule announced the notice for the session earlier on Monday morning.
