Wife of late singer Mohbad, Omowunmi, is still reeling from her husband’s tragic death after receiving a fatal injection administered by an auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe.
In an emotional interview with Arise TV, Omowunmi expressed her outrage and unforgiveness towards Ogedengbe, citing her “nonchalant attitude” and “lack of remorse” despite admitting that Mohbad reacted to the injection.
She revealed that Ogedengbe was recommended by one of Mohbad’s friends, Spending, who claimed she had been his personal nurse for three years.
However, Omowunmi remains skeptical, questioning whether the injection was a mistake or if Ogedengbe was sent with malicious intentions.
The widow’s pain and anger are palpable, especially since Ogedengbe has been spotted clubbing and enjoying her life while Omowunmi is left to pick up the pieces.
She vowed to confront Ogedengbe at the inquest on March 14, saying, “If I see the nurse face to face, the only thing I will tell her is that she will experience everything she has done to me”.
Ogedengbe is set to be prosecuted for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The case has sparked widespread attention, with many calling for justice for Mohbad and his family.
