As part of 2025 International Women’s Day, IWD, celebrations, Real Warri Pikin, better known as Anita Asuoha, has been honoured in Nigeria and India for her remarkable contributions to mental health advocacy and women’s empowerment.
To commemorate this year’s edition of the IWD, her foundation, Real Warri Pikin Foundation, made history with its largest-ever IWD giveaway, providing ₦5 million to support women-led businesses in Abia State.
This event, supported by the First Lady of Abia State, Her Excellency Mrs. Priscilla Otti, showcases Real Warri Pikin’s dedication to uplifting women and families across Nigeria.
She also received a Special Recognition Award from the Indian Women Entrepreneurs Association (IWEA) at the Indian High Commission.
Real Warri Pikin’s achievements in entertainment and mental health advocacy have earned her numerous accolades.
She has been honored with The Humor Awards for the Most Creative Comedy Show and Stand-Up Comedian of the Year, as well as the African Choice Award for Comedy Act of the Year.
Through her Foundation, Real Warri Pikin provides grants to women struggling with mental health issues.
She has also been open about her own struggles with depression and mental health, using her platform to raise awareness and reduce stigma.
With her unique blend of comedy, compassion, and advocacy, Real Warri Pikin is creating a lasting impact and inspiring change.
