In a dramatic political twist, Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, the 2023 Lagos governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is preparing to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC) today.

Two weeks after his resignation from the PDP, Adediran is set to make a formal announcement at a press conference this morning in his campaign office in Ikeja, Lagos.

The event is expected to mark his official return to the APC, a party he was once a member of before switching allegiances ahead of the 2023 elections.

Adediran’s decision follows a recent meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja, where he informed the president of his intention to re-align with his former political family.

Sources close to the former PDP candidate have confirmed the development to The Nation, signaling a significant shift in Lagos’ political landscape.

The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, officially returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jandor who resigned his PDP membership along with his Lagos4Lagos Movement, disclosed this at a press conference in Ikeja, Lagos.

Jandor said: “Our return to APC was not for personal purpose but reflection of our commitment to the development of Lagos.”
