Abia police dismiss officer over misconduct

Date:

The Abia State Police Command has officially dismissed Inspector Kufere Moses from the Nigeria Police Force following a disciplinary review. The officer, with service number AP/NO 338736, was removed from his duties as of February 21, 2025.

Previously assigned to Mopol 55 PMF Aba and stationed at the UBA Bank Guard in Aba, Inspector Kufere has been formally de-kitted.

All police gear and equipment were retrieved from him, as confirmed by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, in a statement released on Wednesday evening.

The dismissal came after an internal investigation found the inspector guilty of “discreditable conduct and offences against discipline.”
