Social media personality, Martins Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has revealed that music executive, Don Jazzy, donated the sum of N100 million to the newly established Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
Earlier, VeryDarkMan raised concerns in a video, questioning the large deposit and requesting an investigation by Zenith Bank.
He emphasised that he wasn’t involved in any fraudulent activities and didn’t know the identity of the donor.
Despite reaching out to several people, he said no one claimed responsibility for the donation.
“@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account, I don’t know what is going on, hope im not being set up….I AM NOT INTO MONEY L^UNDERING I DO NOT DO FR^UD(FOR THE RECORD) Nigerians bare me witness I don’t know what’s up with the account,” he posted.
However, VDM later revealed on Thursday that he received a message from Don Jazzy, confirming that he was the one behind the donation.
“Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy,” Don Jazzy’s message read.
VDM expressed deep gratitude to Don Jazzy, saying he never saw it coming.
The social media personality earlier said the NGO would focus on community development and improving public schools.
