Canadian police seek public’s help in locating missing Nigerian, Omotayo

Date:

The Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 32-year-old Canadian resident, Omotayo, who has been missing since March 25, 2025.

Omotayo, whose last known whereabouts were in the Oakville area, was last seen near Trafalgar Road and Dundas Street East.

According to a statement released by the Toronto Police on Monday, Omotayo is described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing between 160-170 lbs, with a slender build and short black hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a tan ‘Essentials’ hoodie, black Nike trackpants, tan Yeezy slides, and black-framed glasses.

Authorities have expressed concern for his well-being and safety.

In an urgent plea, the police are urging anyone who may have information regarding Omotayo’s location to come forward.

Individuals can contact the Toronto Police at 416-808-4200 or reach Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or through their website at www.222tips.com.

As of the latest update, authorities have not yet located Omotayo, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

This case echoes the recent tragic story of 34-year-old Nigerian man Oluwaseun Adedeji, whose disappearance in British Columbia took a heartbreaking turn.

His body was discovered in Okanagan Lake by the Underwater Recovery Team, casting a somber light on the growing concerns around missing persons in the community.

The Toronto Police Service continues to investigate Omotayo’s case and is urging the public to remain vigilant and share any relevant information.
