Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to orchestrate my death, Natasha makes fresh allegations

Date:

Embattled Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and former Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello of planning to kill her.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan addressed her supporters on Tuesday in Okehi LGA, Kogi State, following her arrival via helicopter.

Despite security restrictions being imposed just hours before her homecoming rally, she proceeded with the event, defying the orders.

According to her, Akpabio directed Bello to ensure she’s not killed in Abuja but in Kogi.

She said: “On the 14th of March at 10.30pm, mind you, two days before that, which was 12th, Akpabio spoke to Governor Ododo to recall me, but he told him that it was impossible because the masses are with her. But he wasn’t satisfied, so he called Yahaya Bello, it was Senator Asuquo from Cross Rivers that drove Yahaya Bello from Hilton hotel. I was informed of everything.

“The meeting was in two folds, he told him to commence my recall that he was going to fund it. The second thing is that he should try and kill me. I didn’t make it public but I wrote to the IG of Police. And Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to make sure killing me does not happen in Abuja but it should be done here so it would seem as If it’s the people that killed me here.”
