Court grants Portable ₦1m bail in defamation case filed by Saheed Osupa

Controversial musician Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has been granted bail set at ₦1 million by an Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State.

His bail comes after he was arraigned on multiple charges, including criminal defamation, intimidation, inciting public unrest, and cyberstalking.

The court stipulated that his release is dependent on securing two sureties of equal value—one of whom must be either the Chairman or Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

The second must own property within a Government Reserved Area (GRA), with a valid Certificate of Occupancy to serve as proof.
