Super Eagles star, Victor Boniface, survives car accident

Date:

Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface, has survived a car accident in Germany hours after leading Bayer Leverkusen to a crucial win over Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Nigeria international scored the winner for his club in the 72nd minute despite having missed an early penalty as the reigning champions beat Frankfurt 2-1.

Boniface shared images of the damaged car on Instagram stories, thanking God for sparing his life.

“God said it’s not yet my time. Na so una for hear say my enemy don die,” he wrote.

Boniface suffered minor injuries to his hand and will be hoping he is fit enough to return to action.

This comes after the Nigerian star was part of the Super Eagles team that was held hostage at an airport in Libya during the last international break.
