Bakare slams Tinubu’s leadership style In a Sunday address at the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC) in Ikeja, Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare expressed strong criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership approach.

The CGCC Serving Overseer warned that the current administration is deviating from what he considers the right path for the nation.

During his state of the nation broadcast, Pastor Bakare specifically cautioned President Tinubu against adopting what he characterized as a godlike posture in governance.

He emphasized the importance of humility in leadership and suggested that the President needs to reconsider his current approach to addressing Nigeria’s challenges.

“Stop playing God,” Bakare openly stated that, although he does not share the same views as Tinubu, he has no intention of seeing him fail. “The current administration is steering the polity adrift. It is time for this government to embrace humility,” he added.

Pastor Bakare was careful to note that his critical remarks were not intended as condemnation of the administration.

Rather, he framed his address as constructive guidance aimed at helping the leadership find a better direction for the country’s governance.

Breakingng.com recalls that Bakare in 2022 lost the presidential primaries on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Tinubu.
