He emphasized that his government remains focused on policies that uplift the welfare of workers and enhance productivity. “Our administration has and will continue to prioritise workers’ welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again,” Tinubu assured.

The President’s message struck a tone of inclusivity and national unity as he paid tribute to all who contribute to the country’s development—regardless of age, occupation, or sector.

“Here’s to everyone, young and old, entrepreneur or employee, private or government employed, whose meaningful contributions help in no small way to the development of our homes, communities, and our dear Nation,” he said.

President Tinubu’s message comes amid growing calls for improved living conditions, fair wages, and job security.

As the nation continues to grapple with economic challenges, the President’s May Day address signals a renewed pledge to collaborate with labor unions and stakeholders to ensure that Nigerian workers receive the dignity and support they deserve.
