Juma Jux, Phyno releases music video for ‘God Design’

Date:

Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, has dropped the music video for his song ‘God Design’, featuring Phyno.

The song is a heartfelt dedication to his wife, Priscilla Ojo, whom he traditionally married in February.

The video, which was shot in Lagos and showcases the love story of Juma Jux and his wife, Priscilla, features notable appearances from Priscilla’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, socialite Chioma Ikokwu, influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Liam, the son of late singer, Mohbad.

‘God Design’ is a romantic tune that highlights Jux’s affection for Priscilla, praising her character and their divinely orchestrated union.

Phyno adds a special touch to the track with Igbo-infused rap verses, blending Bongo Flava with Nigerian flavor.

The nearly four-minute video is produced by Verse Network Tanzania and directed by Kenny. The song is part of Jux’s 7-track EP ‘A Day to Remember’, which tells the story of their love.

Juma and Priscilla publicly announced their relationship in July 2024. Priscilla, a graduate of Media and Theater Arts from Babcock University, made her acting debut at 14 in the movie ‘Beyond Disability’.

Jux, born Juma Mussa Mkambala, is a renowned Tanzanian singer known for his blend of R&B, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats.
