Kanye West has launched a blistering attack on Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us”, which targets Drake.
In a series of posts on X, the 47 year old rapper, West, claimed he was initially invited to collaborate on a remix of “Like That” with Future, Metro Boomin, and Lamar, but was later dropped after mentioning Lucien Grange, a prominent British music executive.
West believes this was a deliberate attempt to silence him for speaking out against the music industry’s power players.
He also expressed his disdain for “Not Like Us”, stating that he doesn’t enjoy the song or any of Lamar’s music. Furthermore, West boasted about his influence on the success of numerous American rappers.
“Not Like Us” was a massive success, winning five awards at the 67th Grammys, including “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year”.
