Date:

Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken to social media to share a deeply personal revelation about a past relationship, vowing never to expose her man to the public again until she is married.

In a post shared on her Instagram reel which has gone viral, the actress expressed her resolve to be more discreet about her love life moving forward, while reflecting on a painful experience with a former partner whom she described as “damaged” and “gullible.”

“Until I marry, y’all will never see my man or even know what he looks like again,” Okorie declared. “Make una carry am, he fits you not. Legitqueen, I will marry right in Jesus name. I will not marry a man who has eyes on other women. I will marry a real king who knows his left and right—not an efulefu, very gullible, easily accessible. If you write him now, he go just reply.”

The actress, known for her candidness, did not hold back as she recounted her ordeal in the relationship. She accused her ex of using her for fame and attention, particularly among women in the Nollywood industry.

“He saw real fame, come dey jump up and down. I blocked him and removed his pix outta my page when I found out he was using me to get relevance and women,” she revealed.

The situation worsened when Okorie discovered inappropriate chats between her then-partner and another actress.

According to her, he had bragged about his intentions to sleep with wealthy women in Lagos and Nollywood.“I caught his chat with a Nollywood girl. I was so angry. Although he told me one day he will make sure he sleeps with all them rich women in Lagos and in Nollywood. I was like, who does that?” she recounted with disbelief.

Realizing the extent of the deception, Okorie said she took immediate steps to erase his presence from her life.

“The thing is, I found out early about him and deleted everything that looks like him around me. In fact, at some point, I thought I was dating my enemy,” she said, adding, “He is not who he claims to be. Noise of empty self-ridges bags, and cheap foods in restaurants—a damaged man.”

While the actress did not name the individual in question, her words paint a vivid picture of betrayal, disappointment, and lessons learned. Okorie’s fans have since flooded her social media with messages of support and admiration for her strength.

The actress ended her message on a hopeful note, affirming her intention to wait for the right man: “I will marry right in Jesus name,” she reiterated.
