Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has threatened to ensure the arrest of anyone who defames him.
Following his recent arrest and remand in prison over alleged criminal defamation of veteran fuji musician, Saheed Osupa, Portable vowed to take legal action against anyone who targets him with defamatory statements.
In a now viral video, Portable stated “Whoever talks bad about me or defames me will be arrested. They have done it to me, and I will do it to anybody too. There is no mercy.”
This warning comes after he was released on bail following the withdrawal of the petition against him by Saheed Osupa.
Portable was previously remanded at the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, after failing to meet stringent bail conditions imposed by an Upper Area Court.
His release on bail came after Saheed Osupa withdrew the petition against him.
