Afrobeats star Reekado Banks has stepped back from his earlier intention to get married this year, revealing a shift in perspective on settling down.
Just two months ago, the singer expressed confidence about tying the knot during an appearance on The Esther Show.
However, in a recent update, Reekado disclosed that his mindset has changed.

“In my last interview, which was two months ago, I was pretty sure about my stance. I said I would get married later in the year, but now I’m in a very different place. So, I can’t say anything definite about getting married now. Back then, I was sure, but now I’m not,” he said.
According to the singer, this reversal is not linked to professional demands but rather personal development.
“It has nothing to do with my music career. It’s about me and my emotional intelligence, which I’m still working on,” he explained.
Reekado, who signed with Mavin Records in 2014 before going independent in 2018, continues to focus on his music while navigating this new phase of emotional self-awareness.
