Nigerian artist Anthony Ebuka Victor, well known as Victony, has stated that he is still suffering from leg discomfort following four operations.
According to reports, Victony narrowly escaped death in a horrific vehicle accident in 2021, which killed one and wounded three more. For approximately a year following the accident, he was confined to a wheelchair.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the singer disclosed that he was about to have a fifth operation owing to severe discomfort.
“My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery. I’m living it. I have just accepted that experience.
“It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it but it’s part of my story,” he said.
Victony disclosed that he was in a coma for three to four days after he was involved in the accident.
He said he suffered from “survival guilt” after finding out that someone died from the accident but he later snapped out of it.
