Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has opened up about her views on the romantic shortcomings of Nigerian men, despite their outward charm and financial generosity.
During a recent appearance on Thoughts In A Culli, the ‘Water and Garri’ singer acknowledged that while Nigerian men possess style and are often lavish in their spending, those traits do not equate to true romance.
“Nigerian men do have swag but they are not really romantic when it comes down to it. They know how to swag and splash cash but I am not looking for that,” she remarked.

Tiwa Savage rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of her hit song Kele Kele Love. Since then, she has become a prominent figure in both the Nigerian and international music industries, earning numerous accolades along the way.
Breakingng.com recalls that in 2013, she tied the knot with music executive Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun. The couple had a son, Jamal, in 2015 before officially parting ways in 2018.
