Nigerian gospel singer, Ebuka Songs, has finally opened up about his decision to leave Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlight Nation.
According to Ebuka, he parted ways with Moses Bliss after just eleven months, despite signing a three-year contract. The reason? He felt called by God to do ministry on his own.
In an interview with The OpenUp Podcast, Ebuka shared that he met Moses Bliss in Abuja before joining the label.
Bliss guided him through the professional music space, teaching him about royalties, copyright, and more. Ebuka expressed gratitude for Bliss’ role in his life, but ultimately felt compelled to leave and focus on his own ministry.
Interestingly, Ebuka’s departure from the label was on good terms, with both him and Moses Bliss confirming that there are no grudges between them.
Moses Bliss even stated that he prayed about Ebuka’s decision and chose to let him go without holding any grudges.
It’s worth noting that Ebuka’s exit from the label was initially met with some confusion, particularly after a worship session he had in Ghana.
However, with this latest revelation, it’s clear that Ebuka’s decision was driven by a desire to follow his calling and do ministry on his own terms.
