Wizkid, Davido win at 2025 NAACP Image Awards

Date:

Wizkid and Davido took home awards on the second night of the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.

Wizkid won Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) for his song with Brent Faiyaz, “Piece of My Heart”.

Meanwhile, Davido snagged the award for Outstanding International Song for his collaboration with Chris Brown, “Hmmm”, beating out Wizkid in the same category.

This marks Wizkid’s third NAACP Image Award win, solidifying his position as the most awarded Nigerian artiste.

He previously won in 2023 for Outstanding Collaboration (Contemporary) for his feature on Chris Brown’s “Call Me Everyday”.

Unfortunately, Tems and Burna Boy didn’t take home awards in their respective categories.

The NAACP Image Awards celebrate outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature, and this year’s ceremony honored the exceptional contributions of Black artists and creators.
