Woli Arole warns against superiority complex among Nigerians abroad

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Woli Arole, has issued a strong message to Nigerians living abroad, cautioning them against developing a superiority complex over those residing in the country.

Taking to his Instagram page, Arole recounted a recent encounter that left him unimpressed. “I saw someone and he was like ‘Hey Arole how you doing, I just got back from America,'” he narrated, pointing out the individual’s prideful demeanor.

He advised that staying overseas should not be a license for arrogance or condescension toward those who have chosen to remain in Nigeria.

“Don’t have superiority complex because you stay outside Nigeria. Yes!!!!” Arole exclaimed, stressing the importance of humility regardless of geographical location.

The recently ordained minister emphasized that success is not tied to one’s location, noting that he has achieved significant accomplishments while living in Nigeria.

“Oga be HUMBLE. I stay in Nigeria and I am doing so well,” he affirmed.

Woli Arole’s statement has since resonated with many Nigerians online, sparking conversations about the need for mutual respect among citizens both at home and in the diaspora.
