2025 AMVCA: ‘Lisabi’ dominates early wins – full list of award recipients

The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is currently taking place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, spotlighting excellence in African film and television.

So far, Lisabi: The Uprising has taken an early lead, clinching three major awards in the technical categories and positioning itself as one of the night’s standout productions.

The ongoing ceremony brings together industry veterans and emerging talents, all vying for top honours across a diverse array of categories celebrating creativity, performance, and storytelling across the continent.
