FG commences free CNG bus service in Abuja

The federal government has launched a free Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) bus service in Abuja to help reduce transportation costs for residents.

Starting Monday, December 2, 2024, the buses began operating on major routes, including connections from Mararaba to Eagle Square and Berger bus stop, as highlighted in a video posted by the Presidential CNG Initiative on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

Passengers can ride the CNG buses at no cost for the next 40 days, with the free service scheduled to end on January 6, 2025.
