Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a man, his wife, son, and two others in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The attackers opened fire in the Chikakore district of Kubwa about 12:00 a.m. on Monday.
The kidnappers, who numbered 30 and were equipped with AK-47 rifles, assaulted Adefija Michael Akinropo’s home in the neighborhood and grabbed him, as well as his wife, son, and older brother.
It was learnt that the gunmen also moved to another building housing a poultry farm and kidnapped a man and injured his wife.
When contacted by DAILY POST, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, promised to get details about the incident.
“Let me get details from the DPO, I will get back to you,” she said.
