President Bola Tinubu has officially signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, approving a total expenditure of ₦54.99 trillion.
The signing ceremony took place on Friday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with top National Assembly leaders and senior government officials in attendance.
The 2025 budget, which was passed by both chambers of the National Assembly on February 13, saw an increase from the original ₦49.7 trillion proposed by the President.
This adjustment marks a significant 99.96% increase compared to the ₦27.5 trillion budget for 2024.
