Corps members to start receiving N77,000 soon, says NYSC DG

Date:

Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has announced that corps members will soon get an increased monthly allowance of N77,000.

Ahmed said this in Abuja while commissioning a staff bus given by Capital Express Insurance Company.

He added that the arrangements for the additional stipend had been completed.

The NYSC DG reaffirmed his commitment to corps members’ welfare and security, telling them that by 2025, they would receive all of the advantages they deserved.

The newly commissioned bus is intended to address transportation challenges faced by NYSC staff.

Ahmed acknowledged the difficulties that staff and corps members encounter while commuting to and from their offices.
