NLC threatens nationwide strike over pension, NSITF funds

Date:

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Federal Government a seven-day ultimatum to address two key issues: refunding workers’ funds allegedly diverted from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and immediately establishing the Governing Board of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM).

The NLC warned that if the government fails to meet these demands, it will call for a nationwide strike.
