Portable makes fresh statement after N2m bail

Date:

Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable has promised to change his ways.

The musician made the pledge after being granted N2 million bail by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday.

The Ogun State police command charged the Zazu crooner with allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

He was granted bail after pleading not guilty to five counts of conspiracy, assault, possession of a cutlass and weapons with intent to injure, and disorderly conduct.

Portable claimed in a video statement posted to social media upon his release that he would quit creating havoc and focus on generating money.

The musician stated that he is searching for money to complete his bail condition.

“My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money,” he said.
