Legendary Yoruba actor Charles Olumo, Agbako, dies at 101

Legendary actor, Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, popularly known as Agbako, has sadly passed away at the age of 101.

Reports indicate that he died in the early hours of Thursday after experiencing some fatigue and taking a brief nap.

Bolaji Amusan, the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), shared the news of Agbako’s passing on Instagram.

“TAMPAN Global announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO,” he wrote in a heartfelt tribute.

Amusan further mentioned that additional details regarding the burial arrangements will be made available in due course.
