Nigerian actor and model, Tayo Faniran, has bravely shared his experiences with cosmetic enhancements, including veneers, beard enhancements, and hairline adjustments.
In a recent interview, Faniran explained that he wants to be transparent about his procedures to dispel any notions that his appearance is solely due to natural luck.
Faniran said “I did my teeth, my teeth are veneers, and I always tell people when they see my smile because I do not want you to think that God was partial to me.”
“So I tell them ‘look, I did this. I have veneers. These are like gemstones, they put it in your mouth, it is luxury. It is part of the things that make me feel like I am growing, grooving. Some people go clubbing, pop bottles and stuff like that.
“To some maybe I want to do shopping, my cologne, I am vain, I am a model. I did my beards as well, I had a lower beard line and my hairline, I was not bald but I just did it.”
As a model and actor, Faniran believes that taking care of his appearance is essential to his profession. He has appeared in several notable films, including “Gangs of Lagos” and “Who’s The Boss,” and gained popularity after participating in Big Brother Africa in 2014.
